Welcome to Tennis United
We are a growing tennis coaching business based in the East Gippsland Region of Victoria. We mainly service Bairnsdale Tennis Club but also go out to surrounding areas such as Longford, Paynesville, Orbost & Swifts Creek. Tennis United was formed in late 2008 by well known tennis players and Head Coaches Julian Arnold and Aidan Fitzgerald. Tennis United provides tennis coaching for all ages and standards starting from 4 yrs old. We also run a fully operational Pro Shop which is based at Bairnsdale Tennis Club. Our tennis shop has everything tennis related, including re-strings, sales of merchandise, clothing, balls and racquets. Tennis United’s Philosophy on coaching is to “build sound techniques, strategies and spread the passion of the game" We believe a healthy relationship is important between the coach and the student as this is the best way for the coach to get respect and therefore the most out of their student. And if the lessons are fun and exciting, who knows how much the student can improve their game. Our Vision for the future of Tennis United is to dedicate our knowledge and passion for tennis to teaching people to be the best they can be at the game we love. It is our goal to build eventful Tennis Clubs where people can socialise and have a good time. We would like to see Bairnsdale TC become the leading club in East Gippsland for providing successful junior development pathways. Our Philosophy on coaching is: To build sound techniques, strategies and spread the passion of the game. Our goals: To provide programs and coaching for a wide range of clientele Increase participation in competitions (junior, senior & mid week) Increase club atmosphere through stimulating interest, advertising special programs To design & run one of the best junior development coaching programs in Australia Offer exciting holiday clinics and opportunities for squad development To provide opportunities to prepare and develop players so they can enjoy their tennis and reach their personal pursuits in the game. To make Bairnsdale TC one of the most active, eventful and popular tennis clubs in Victoria Travel with squad players to tournaments for match preparation etc.
